Sue Tsai Misadventures of The Heart

Sue Tsai is currently exhibiting in New York City displaying her most recent work, Misadventures of the Heart.

I discovered Sue when her painting was on Wale's album cover back in 2014 and I've loved her style ever since. I am obsessed, I even had Sue Tsai nail art at one point! I have a sweatshirt too that everyone asks about every time I wear it. What I like most about her work is how bold every piece is, the colors are always super vibrant and it is clear there is a story with emotion behind each piece. They are all unique but easily recognizable. I always wonder where her inspiration comes from so I felt so lucky to meet at her at the exhibition. I was so excited!! I finally met the artist behind my favorite artwork! Seeing her work in person was an amazing experience, she is incredibly warm and so generous with her time, chatting up all those who came to support her work. The opportunity to get up close and personal and really see every detail was inspiring.

Lunch In Long Beach

My uncle Danny just turned 30! yayyyy! so in honor of him, we celebrated his birthday at Swingbellys in Long Beach, Long Island. They mostly serve BBQ foods and let me tell you...the fried pickles are too die for! If your not into pickles, I get it BUT! these fried pickles are worth the try. Every time we come here, I make sure we get an order of fried pickles. They also served BBQ wings which were also really good. They were called the Dry Rub Swingz, yummm. If you are heading out to Long Beach for some summer sun, I recommend stopping in Swingbellys for lunch! Awesome place to be.

Zoeva Brushes

Zoeva brushes are so bomb! They sent me the rose gold set which comes with seven different gorgeous brushes. I have had this set for over a year and they never fall apart or shed. Usually after washing a brush many times they start to shed, but not my Zoeva rose gold set! These brushes are definitely the most soft, durable, and best looking set of brushes I own. You can find this brush set at Zoeva Brushes on their website. They cost approximately 83 US dollars. They are pricey, but soo worth it!

The Pier

Santa Monica Fun

Quick picture I took at the Santa Monica Pier of the games. It was such a beautiful and fun place!

Body Jewelry

Before I say anything here, this is my photography but NOT my waist.....I WISH it was! Anyway.... Body Jewelry. It's summer right now, and this is the PERFECT time of year to dress an outfit up with Body Jewelry. The way it looks against tan skin is just...everything! It's a fun way to make what your wearing a little sexier. It shows off your tan and accentuates your curves. What's better than that?!

Beauty & Pin Ups

This photo was taken in Las Vegas during the reveal party for the Global Beauty Masters Competition. Global Beauty Masters brings hair and makeup artists from all over to showcase their talents and compete for the title of Global Beauty Master.  All the hair products and tools used during the competition were provided by Beauty & Pin Ups. They have a line of innovative products, my favorite being a curling iron that was like nothing Ive ever used before. My hair lasted for DAYS after! I had the opportunity to meet the man behind the brand Beauty & Pin-Ups, Priel Maman. He shared his journey as a hair stylist, and his creation of products and hair tools. It was inspiring to hear how an idea can turn into a brand when you have a dedicated team and true passion. Thank you to the entire Beauty and Pin Ups team for making my first trip to Vegas memorable and awesome!!!

Coney Island Video Shoot

This is a picture from the time I did nine models for a video shoot in Coney Island. I was exhausted, but it was so much fun! The girls looked so pretty and everyone was super nice. It turned out to be a fun day and I can't wait to go back to Coney to work on my own shoot!

The Trick To Prepping Your Skin For Makeup

We all love some form of makeup... whether it is a volumizing mascara, that simple go to eyeshadow, or a grunge style smudged eyeliner.  A full face of glam is captivating and desirable in the 2016 beauty world. We are lucky to live in an era where you can learn makeup techniques at the click of a button. Yet, some of the most important tips are left out or overlooked. In order to achieve the perfect, flawless, full face of glam prepping the skin is an essential part of any makeup routine! No matter what skin type you have, you need to keep your skin moisturized. Many people with oily skin make the mistake of skipping the moisturizer to eliminate the risk of the "shiny" look, when truthfully you are missing the most important step! The skin must be moisturized and primed to avoid rough patches and foundation sitting in small crevices. Whether you are oily or dry, you will need a moisturizer and a primer! Any foundation can look flawless but how you manipulate the product is what matters. With a moisturizer and primer that cater to your skin type your foundation will look smooth, glowing, and natural.

The Shadows You Can Not Live Without

Makeup Geek eyeshadows are a must! Ever since I received this package in the mail I have been addicted. Their regular eyeshadows cost $6 and their foiled shadows are $10. Not a bad price for a large variety of shadow colors and a great quality product. Head over to my Youtube channel where I have an entire video dedicated to this palette. There you will also find swatches and name of each color shadow in this photo.

Kylie's New Metallics Are Worth The Hype

There have been many mixed reviews about the Kylie Metal Liquid Lips. Personally, I love the product. The Metallic Liquid Lips are a sheer texture. The best thing about having a sheer liquid lip is how the product can be manipulated. When you have an opaque lipstick, the product will be very true to color. When the product is sheer, you can style the lipstick differently each time you wear it! You can apply a liner liner, a color in the same family as the product and apply it all over the lip with the liquid lip on top. The color of the liner will peek through while the sheer liquid lip still shows. It can be worn many different ways which makes each metallic color even more desirable.

How to Switch Up Your Everyday Summer Makeup Routine

Summer is here and now is the time to wear those colorful liners that we have tucked away! Everyone gets into a makeup rut and gets into the same routine. Adding a pop of color with a color liner is quick, easy, and fun! You can apply it to the lash line, lower lash line, or in your water line. These liners are Makeup Geek and they cost $9.00 each.

The Summer Blush From Heaven

Yesterday I went into Sephora looking for the new Anastasia Beverly Hills "Modern Renaissance" palette but of course, no luck. Bummer, but something good came from the trip. Walking down the aisles of Sephora I stumbled across this gorgeous luminous peach tone blush. Tigerlilly, by Becca Cosmetics. This is the perfect luminous blush for tan to deep skin tones to brighten up your making application. In my opinion, Becca blushes are like no other on the market. The formula is like a dream! You can find Becca Cosmetics on their website or in Ulta and Sephora stores.

Louboutin Loubilaque Lip Creme's

Lipstick has always been an obsession of mine. When Louboutin debuted their new Loubilaque Lip Cremes I couldn't wait to get my hands on one! The packaging is beautiful.  The case is like jewelry with a long ribbon and beautiful accents, its super luxe. Unfortunately for $85 I was not blown away over the formula. It performs like other heavy lip glosses in my collection. The texture is a very rich, creamy consistency and the color is very pigmented, all good qualities but I think the price is in the name and the packaging.
